“I first met Kyle after hearing him give a presentation at VegFest. At the time, I was training for my first Half Ironman triathlon and I was experiencing significant fatigue in my daily life and lack of energy during my training sessions.
I knew I had to change my diet somehow, but nothing I’d tried on my own had worked. I had contacted a few sports nutritionists but they were apprehensive about taking on a vegan client. When I heard Kyle talk, I knew he’d be a better fit for me so I contacted him to see if he’d be able to help me. He agreed, and asked me to keep a food and training journal for a few days before we met.
When we met, he thoroughly analyzed my current food intake and compared it with my energy needs. He made some simple changes to my diet and recommended some reading and online tools. I was nervous at first, since one of the changes he recommended was hugely increasing my carb intake.
I’ve struggled with obesity my whole life and have typically tried to steer away from carbs in order to try to reduce my weight. He asked me to give it just 3 weeks and if I didn’t like it, I could go back to my original diet. I agreed to 3 weeks and started the next day.
I was stunned to discover that not only did my energy skyrocket, but I started dropping not only pounds, but fat as well. I had lots of energy for training and, thanks to his suggestions, also had lots of energy on the day of my half ironman.
I have maintained this diet for six months now and see no point in going back to what didn’t work before. I was so impressed with his attention to detail, his active listening and his knowledge.

I had the privilege to work with Kyle for a 12-week fitness routine at the Chateau Laurier. I am beyond pleased with the outcome. I’ve lost a considerable amount of weight, I’ve built muscle mass and developed a daily routine that has seen me maintain a streak of working out over 70 consecutive days.
What makes Kyle a transformation trainer is that he doesn’t just tell you what to do, he coaches you and finds solutions to make things you can’t do, possible. I was pretty skeptical of the whole personal trainer idea until I worked with Kyle. I thought I could just find a routine online and do it myself and get results, but that rarely works and you often fall off the wagon.
Kyle first evaluated my fitness and stiffness and devised a routine that would help improve my physical shape and my flexibility. I started seeing results after only a few sessions and after a month and a half friends and family started to notice, more importantly, though, I felt better.
With Kyle what really stood out was his ability to make changes on the fly, if he sees you struggling he has a dozen different exercises or stretches to make it easier and improve your form. If you can’t do a traditional squat, he has another variation. He was also able to explain the science behind everything he had you do.
The Chateau gym is wonderful and Kyle’s private training room offers privacy and the ability to avoid any self-consciousness you might have about going to the gym.
I would recommend Kyle to anyone who is serious about improving their fitness and flexibility. If you’re willing to put in the work and open to changing your life Kyle is the trainer you need.
