Tacos are the most popular things these days! You can’t leave vegans out of that. El Camino needs a little more coaxing to get fully onboard with vegan options but they know how to make their eggplant tacos vegan as well as their gourmet salsa and some other appetizers. I wager the more vegans who frequent this super popular spot, the more demand for vegan items there will be. We are out and about and demand delicious tacos! Sip a cocktail while you make your case. Wonderful tequila selection.

A casual hang out with seating and colourful and hip Dia de Los Muertos decor and interior brick. If you ask for vegetarian (beans no cheese) you’ll end up with a burrito as big as your head! Many of the sauces are naturally vegan and they can modify or change things for you. Lots of fresh ingredients. The use local produce where possible. The Sunnyside location is perfect for Carleton U students. Go try!

Little Southwestern cuisine spot in Wellington West. Bright and modern atmosphere. Lots of Veggie options including a vegetarian section which can be made vegan. They also have a bean burrito which isn’t in the vegetarian section of the menu so don’t miss it because burritos might be the best vegan thing since…ever! Agave Grill’s burrito rates up there. Additional vegan friendly sides. Lovely bar seating area and double date night type atmosphere.

A good idea when you are in need of a massive vegan burrito fix. Casual Fast food type eatery. This place is badass. Our favourite is large beans and rice on a whole wheat tortilla with black, pinto and refried beans loaded with salsa and all the veggies and a line of hot sauce. Beware, their hot sauce is legit!
